I am so pleased to learn you are feeling better Tom, and yes, please do keep it up.....feeling better. Thanks for the Video of Bill Maher and loved his explaination of how the Libertarians have morphed.....sort of like how Republicans have morphed but so many still haven't gotten that message, they just see R and think it's the same party of those bygone days, prior Reagan.

Anyways, as a lifelong registered Independent, I too had in the past supported the Libertarian Party and had voted a long while ago for it once. But this is NOT the type of Libertarianism of today that I supported back then. I'm very grateful to Bill Maher who can explain the differences so well. In fact, I think we all need to start taking a good look at all the parties that are not what they use to be.

Sorry Democrats but when I see New Deal programs being tossed onto the chopping block to somehow appease the blood thirsty Republicans and Libertarians I question that Party as well. And if that is a ploy to get more taxes from the rich that should be paying more taxes then I will also toss out NDAA, NAFTA, TPP (nafta on steroids) and the signing away of Glass-Steagall.

Until the people really start demanding better we get the least among them in both major Parties and it troubles me that some Liberals are running to Libertarian Parties because of some things that I do support like End the Fed but fail to take account of the other ruinous policies they would bring on board. Democrats need to keep voting in more Elizabeth Warrens and Alan Graysons......and please Massachusetts support Ed Markey. And if there is not a Candidate running with their caliber look to the 3rd Party Candidates. Maybe the only way the two major Parties will get their butts straightened out is if no one supports the idiots that are there. Vote Smarter!

Thank you, Tom. Yes, Maher gave me many laughs as well! Bernie did a great job on his show last night.
I also agree with Dandelion, as I took to the "old" Libertarian party for the same reasons Maher did...he gave a great explanation during Real Time & Overtime. The Dems have pretty much lost me....I don't give them a penny, and they sure are relentless with their requests for funding. The 3rd parties need to grow greatly at the grassroots-local levels. We need to have strong backing from the people to get them into lower level offices before we can get on a national level. Getting them into Presidential races is not going to be easy. We lost that battle when the League of Women Voters got dumped from organizing the debates. This must change.

We cancelled HBO at the beginning of the year because the only thing we watched on a regular basis was Bill Maher's show. I really miss it! Thanks for posting this, Tom. I'm going to have to make a point of watching his shows online.

Puzzle — 3:51 Leaf me alone. I need some time to myself.

Reuters — Restricting a third party from running? Wouldn't thatbe unconstitutional? I can see if you don't get the paperwork in on time not being given a place on the ballot, but to restrict the right to run seems undemocratic. Oh, palm to forehead, I forgot . . . these are Republican/Teabaggers! Enough said.

YouTube — I might have put it ". . . Movement Went ‘Nuts,’ ‘Intellectually Stuck With Their Heads Up Their Asses’' — Very funny and really enjoyed seeing Bernie laughing!

Right Wing Watch — The only nuts are the ones between their ears!

Cartoon — Good one!

Thanks Sheryl, you just saved me a lot of one-handed typing. Given what's going on in DC these days that cartoon caprion could easily be reversed.

Thanks all.

John. you're half right. Dems share equally in apathy, but the GOP leads far and away in ignorance.
