Here is the ninth article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. Today’s honoree is Republican Adam Kokesh, for breaking the law, spreading insane conspiracy theories, and fostering the violent overthrow of the US government.

Don't you love it when dangerous people mask themselves as libertarians?

Would Republican Adam Kokesh be happy to openly carry his weapons in a Taliban
ruled area instead of in Washington, D.C....

Ty, Tom.

Speaking of lunatics.....Kokesh --- Koresh, I couldn't help but see the comparison and both suffer from messiah complex. Okay, one is dead a martyr in his own mind, the other longs to be martyred for his cause. What ever that cause might be.

Do you not feel sad for him as he (in his mind) lives in a world where, you have to have a loaded gun on you at all times.
The fact is the world as move on from the 1800, but he is still there.

No he be hiding and on the phone calling for help, you know that deer do not shot back, that if he used that gun, more like he just cleans it and hope one day he could use it!.

Once again I am clearing my desk so as to have a nice clean space to bang the hell out of my head until consciousness fades into the sunset of my much more of these inbred idiots do Americans have to suffer under....or for....or in place of or because of......sigh.

Or maybe I'll just go have a shot of Jim Beam Black....(you know it's really bad when I resort to drink).

He is a coward....he carries a gun because it makes him feel like a big man. Unfortunately, one day he may kill someone with it by accident or by design. And being a Fascist Bas***d, he will feel no consequences for his action.

I wish he'd shoot his dick off. That would drop his at least 10 IQ point down to 60.

“We will not allow our government to destroy our humanity." Interesting.

Okay, how about this? "Mr. Kokesh, I will not allow you gun fetishists to destroy MY humanity--my humanity, that CARES about the suffering of those who've been threatened by or shot by someone with a gun; those who've lost loved ones to gun violence or accidents.

I would suggest that you have already lost your humanity--and not because your government 'took' it. You lost it when you began to care more about your guns than about--well, actual humanity."

Not so strange Gloria, libertarians are pretty much as insane as teabaggers.

Clearly every male gun nut has penis envy.

Noted....having a bit of trouble loading the page today, finally got all but one picture. I'd read about his plan several weeks ago, and was actually anxious to see if he followed through, and what the consequences would be. I was ready to scream bloody murder if these gun nuts were allowed to have their planned march with guns....especially after Occupy was violently and forcibly removed from the streets. But, I guess he now wants us to "tune in next Fourth." Wondering if his words will cause the gov't to go after him before that time, though. I made the comparison that Ed Snowden released info and is an international fugitive, but gun nuts can threaten to their weasly hearts' content and still remain free......

What a pity they can't march their parade off the ends of the earth and into oblivion.

I know it's been said before, but the inmates are running the asylum.

Vote all republicans out of office in every state at every opportunity. And, please give them all the mental health counseling they so desperately need ASAP. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Tom Edgar (56)

Joanne Dixon. I am afraid I think you have that the wrong way around. The asylum is actually controlling the inmates, who are actually in charge of the asylum.

Inane is but an s away:

Who's cooking the Reichstag?
When you realise that Democrats want to kill Eddie "Leaky" Snowden, Libertarians worship Walmart, and Republicans are showing their teas to everyone in general, you might turn Green inside your voting booth.

Is dis dis, da mockracy?
Mean, very meanwhile, "Toys-r-us", America drones on.Lego the joystick and the Hide-and-seek.

IMO, this is one scary dude! I hope that the NSA is using PRISM etc to keep tabs on him. He should be arrested for sedition because he sure is talking up a storm about taking over the government and inciting others of his insane ilk to do likewise, or should I say, taking down the government.

Thanks and kudos to all. Sadly, anotherf one just like him will crawl out of the woodwork in short order.

Maybe Kokesh thinks he's a Koresh, totally out of his mind, in either case. So, yes, Mr. Secret Agent Man, where are you on this one?
Maybe quietly watching him, don't want to make a martyr out of him?
The major Republican politicos, I understand, have recognized for some time that Ron Paul lost his marbles a long time ago, snd now it is evident that he has created a sicko following.

You're right, Mitchell. I have seen few glimmers of hope for acolytes of the Ron Paul cult.
