The Republican party has …um… graced us with a plethora of absolutely absurd candidates for public office. Sadly, far too many of them sucked Koch all the way into office. However, few have come close to the entertainment value of Christine O’Donnell, aka O’Dingbat, Republican candidate for the US Senate from Delaware.

After glancing at your headline I almost didn't open the link... thinking of the "Racist Repuglicans React" thread I figured I just didn't have the energy it might take..
Glad to see the "O'Dingbat Returns" referred to someone not a member here -lol

Oh my! I didn't need to replay her awful advert – I knew it by heart from before as it was so gallopingly STUPID!!! Calling her O'Dingbat is really quite charitable! That gormless message is going to haunt her forever - and she has done it all to herself...

One of the great mysteries of these goofy denizens of the far right lunatic fringe is that they are all so avid to bestow their idiocy on the rest of us. There isn't one of them who could pass a sixth grade history test but they are all self-professed experts. Haven't the rest of us suffered enough?

"…politicians who think spending, trading favours, backroom deals are the ways to stay in office…. I'm you."
She is a liar cum laude! That's what all politicians do, some more than others (read Republicanus/Teabaggers). Elvira has more credibility.
I had to laugh at the comment from newtosf921 on the article:
"This woman makes Sarah Palin and Michele Bachman look smart…..ugh…….this woman is lower than an idiot…….however, if she does run, we get some good comedy out of her nonsensical, ignorant and stupid views"

So that's where Elvira went! Well, Christine may not be a witch but she is most certainly NOT me. Hell, let her run again, and get thumped again, easy pickup for our side. The side that isn't witches. She does look a little like this one I met, well, that was an odd weekend, giggle...

I never saw O'Donnell's ad before – it almost seemed sincere, I would NOT have known she was a RepubliCON..;) But I would've voted for Elvira – she IS me (but with a bigger Budget!;)

I love Elvira! Where has she been lately?. I do not care where O'Dingbat is, just so it is not in the Senate. Surely people are not stupid enough to vote for her. Oh, wait, they are. Great article Tom and funny.

She'll be right at home with all the other TeaParty dingbats in Congress if elected. Id she is then maybe even the stupidest of the electorate will say: Oh my God, what have I done."
Wednesday July 24, 2013, 9:53 pm
Goodness here she goes again, just like failin/Palin the idiots cannot get enough of their 15 minutes of fame. Thanks to little idiots like o'dingbat, we can have a lot of good laughs if not plain LOF yucks. Great fodder for comics.

I 'm beginning to think that we need a competency test for those that want to run for office, but she needs a Psycho test too. Late Night would love it. I vote for Elvira!

Jesus, not again!!! Please not again!!! I live in New Jersey, and I'd be stuck listening to her campaign ads again...I went through it once, more than enough...Please New Jersey block the TV signals from Delaware...I cannot go thru this again...I can't believe Delaware would want this again, either...

Well, at least the Republicans grace us with an endless supply of the most colorful, amusing candidates. They're not worth the paper they signed to run a campaign when it comes to governing, but they certainly have great entertainment value. Where is Herman Cain? Now there was an entertainer, the Godfather pizza king. Or Rick Perry who, "oops," couldn't remember three whole government departments he would close if elected. Or Mitt Romney trying to act like an "average Joe" on a campaign stop when he talked about the "round goodies" because he couldn't come up with the unfamiliar "donut." Ah, the memories.....

Oki, I might live in Sweden, but from what I have heard on the news, etc. She (Christine O’Donnell) is not really "stable", or what I should call it. Well, enough said. Thank you Tom :)

The republicans could get a group rate for mental health counseling. They truly need it and until they get well I say vote all republican out of office in every state at every opportunity.
