A very interesting thread again, TomCat. After I picked myself up again from ROFL from Borowitz's satire (Cruz had me in stitches, then MCCain floored me), I was immediately sobered up by the story on Scott Walker and his continuing crusade against the singers in the hall of their Capitol. This crusade is bad enough, but the story became darker with the arrest of the two photographing bystanders, who just happened to be young African American males by an all-white police squad. I hope these young men sue Walker's pants off after one has been in jail for three days before "the paperwork was ready".

Thanks for posting the trailer of "Inequality for all", and thanks to Dandelion for the tip. I0ll have to wait until it gets on YouTube, because it' won't be screened in theatres over here, I think.

Poor Paula -so misunderstood!

TC, I have often said that Obama lkeads from the rear and that this administration is rife with non-leaders. In fairness, republican administrations have also been clueless on what real leadership is. I just finished an excellent book and I very highly recommend it to you and all on your list. I think lynn will like it. It is ONLY THE MOST ABLE: MOVING BEYOND POLITICS IN THE SELECTIONOF NATIONAL SECURITY LEADERS by Stephen Duncan on Littlefield publishers.

He skewers evryone in a very even handed, accurate exposition.

Scott Walker has hit a laughable new low in his attempt to stop the Solidarity Sing Along, a singing protest love fest that has occurred every weekday at the Wisconsin State Capitol since March 11th, 2011.

Ah, gee, poor Scottie, doesn't like the sing a long, well maybe if he stopped singing the Kochroach tunes all the time he might want to add some songs of The People's to his list. After the serious betrayals he has done to the citizens of his State you'd not think he'd mind a few hijinks outside the State Capitol. Just like a typical bully they can give it but can't take it when someone throws some light onto them.

Thanks Tom for placing the video on here, the more who might get a chance to view it the better. I'm always a grateful person for anyone that is doing what they can to stay on message for the "little guy".

Hacks like Cruz and Walker are an embarrassment. They've got to go.

That reminds me (sorry if you have mentioned it elsewhere and I haven't got to it yet) but on Channel Four's 'The Last Leg' last night – with the gorgeous Adam Hills leading the programme – they said that McCain had tweeted that he was in the middle of a three plus hour meeting on Syria – and he had been playing online instead of listening/contributing…..!! ARGHH!!!

Ooh - have just seen on the RHS of the screen 'McCain caught playing poker on his phone during Syria hearing' - what an 'elder statesman' - or maybe just too much of the elder.... needing retirement.

Puzzle — 3:20 Another of my seedy friends!

The New Yorker — Send a Cruz missile to Syria and see if that persuades Al-Assad to say "uncle".

Daily Kos — It is apparent that Fartfuhrer Scott Walker is afraid of the building dissent. Why else would he go to so much trouble? Since he was elected Fartfuhrer in 2010, I take it that he will be up for re-election in 2014, or does the 2012 recall election throw that to 2016? Whichever, it is far too long to have him destroying Fitzwalkerstan aka Wisconsin.

YouTube — Looks like a good programme, one that I would like to see. One that will likely not make to viewing in Canada, yet we have similar problems.

Cartoon — . . . and now she appears to be in the shadows at best. . . or did I miss something? Probably one of her worst career moves was going to Faux Noise.
