I always thought what's the big deal about IDs? But with this, "So why is the party that hates regulations in favor of a new, necessary government regulation on voting? Because of the answer to the question, “Who doesn’t have voter ID?”" I see the light.
I have been an election judge three or four times. Your signature in the binder compared to your signature on the application for a ballot is your voter ID.

Very good video on people who are currently registered to vote yet who will be disqualified – 280,000 of them – at the next Pennsylvania election. That should be enough to swing it to Red, wouldn't you say?! The only voter fraud taking place is that committed by the adherents of the GOP and the TP by all accounts. They really disgust me.

Puzzle — 5:12 The average is now showing at 8:36 so either a lot of people are having trouble or it is wrong. My mother's house was overgrown with ivy and the strong little bugger had burrowed through the stucco and into the basement. They had a barn too that was covered in ivy. When the new owners took down the ivy, the old barn collapsed. Seems the ivy was keeping it together!

National Memo — There is negliible voter fraud as shown by the Baby Bush administration. From what I have heard, the few cases of voter fraud that I have heard of have been perpetrated by the likes of Ann Coulter and some other known Republicanus/Teabaggers. What there IS, is election fraud perpetrated by the Republicanus/Teabaggers. Clearly, the Republicanus/Teabagger election fraud and faux voter fraud, is nothing more than an attempt to win elections any way they can, by hook or by crook! Heavy on the crooks!

Crooks and Liars — LMAO! Blacktracking, a one-hatey, Kenyan boomerang! Bill Maher has such a way with words!

Alternet — Oh my! Fuddle duddle! Conservatives are a bunch of dumbass idiots, based on this. Truly amazing that there are people that believe this crap!

Cartoon — From Wikipedia:

"Unfortunately, the hydrochlorofluorocarbons, or HCFCs, and hydrofluorocarbons, or HFCs, are now thought to contribute to anthropogenic global warming. On a molecule-for-molecule basis, these compounds are up to 10,000 times more potent greenhouse gases than carbon dioxide. The Montreal Protocol currently calls for a complete phase-out of HCFCs by 2030, but does not place any restriction on HFCs. Since the CFCs themselves are equally powerful greenhouse gases, the mere substitution of HFCs for CFCs does not significantly increase the rate of anthropogenic global warming, but over time a steady increase in their use could increase the danger that human activity will change the climate."

Short version — we're screwed by our own hand!

Bill's right. There are a LOT of instances where the republican party has been blacktracking, lol. Deficit spending while in recession is the biggest one to me. Every republican president since Nixon has Keynesian economic theory to pull the country out of a recession, including Ronnie. The republicans were for it when GWB was using it, they only became against it after Obama was elected. The theory is still sound as Paul Krugman points out so often, it is the republican party blacktracking that has changed. Ideology trumps the welfare of the country. Maybe I should have voted different in that latest poll. :^)

Good luck with your med appointment, hope it doesn't bother you too, too much when you come home. Glad to see your prayers were answered at Church. Thank you for this, and take care, Tom.

Blacktracking, put that on the list of hot new words for 2013 and keep your fingers crossed it's out of vogue again in 2014.

Great new word, blacktracking. I think this will catch on and be around a long time. Thanks for the post, TomCat.
