A humorous take on the Decalogue from the perspective of Republican Supply-side Jesus. The animated graphic probably won't show here. Click through.

Not so much funny as true. They are the modern day version of the pharisees and scribes Christ railed against in his day. How they co-opted Jesus name, but not his teachings, into what turned into that list is as disgusting a theft from history as has ever been seen. They don't have the first clue about what values are, though they talk about them all the time. They wouldn't recognize the value in loving thy neighbor as thyself, for instance, if it had teeth and bit them in the posterior. The platform of the republican party coming out of their convention last year was a complete repudiation of everything Christ taught, and many things they supported as a party themselves at one time, like the ACA which they proposed as an alternative to Bill Clinton's health care ideas and Romney implemented. They wear two faces, they speak with forked tongues, and if they didn't have a little red tail under their coats, I'd be surprised. Such is conservative politics today. Ugly as can be and twice as mean.

Great Tom and so true. Nothing less than whores for their corporate pimps all the while thumping their bibles that have blank pages inside rather like the minds of their constituents.

Kudos, very well done, Tom. I have to admit though, that it elicited the famous Dutch 'Farmer-with-a-Toothacke-Grin'. To close to the truth to get a genuine ROTFL, this is more the painful laughter, hiding embarrassment about how things could actually be this way.

Given their behavior for the past four years would anyone have expected otherwise? Given that the Tea Party are like a bunch of monkeys high on nitrous oxide when it comes to virtually everything there is a need for some sort of entrance requirement for politicians or at least that they spay them lest they breed.

To add my mite regarding the earlier stages of the Greedy Old Psychopath's propaganda aspect, on which the lunacy platform is built:

FOX thinks The Onion is Real News!
TheAlyonaShow·

Uploaded on Nov 29, 2010

Fox News' sister site, FOX Nation, posted a link from the Onion, that read, "Frustrated Obama sends nation rambling 75,000 word email". Except nowhere on the site did they signal that the onion is not real news, that it's satire. Georgetown University's Christopher Chambers discusses FOXNation's vetting problem and the media coverage of Tom DeLay.

FOX NEWS- LIES, LIES, LIES --See For Yourself (part 1 of 2)

Uploaded on Apr 27, 2008

The Telecommunications Act of 1996 specifically restricts Corporate ownership to 49.7% (not 49.6 or 49.8) because that's exactly what Rupert Murdock and NewsCorp owned at the time. That's when the restriction of ownership of TV and Newspapers also went out the window. Hence the birth of Fox News, since they no longer had to classify their programs like "Hard Copy" and "A Current Affair" as "Infotainment". Welcome to the no-spin zone (hahahahahahahaha)
