Here are the results of our GOP Gay Hate Poll. Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories. Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population. Nevertheless, our polls are often both accurate and indicative of the nation’s view.

TC – I wonder who were the three (THREE!!) who voted that the GOP/TP will stop hating? Are their names Pollyanna, Dr Pangloss et al? Bewildering!

For the new poll -

Mr Putin believes he is very strong and everyone else (particularly democrats and Democrats – ie the whole West) are very weak – he will snort derisively at threats of sanctions.
Interestingly enough I was recently watching a re-run of "Yes, Prime Minister" (BBC 1980s) where the fictional PM Jim Hacker had to decide about nuclear weapons – and he was being grilled by a far more savvy man about how Russia would increase its power and if Jim would ever 'press the button' – the savvy old gentleman said that Russia wouldn't do something outrageously aggressive – but would use Salami Tactics – each annoying and provoking but not big enough for a strong response and that Russia would edge forward and forward as people in the West argued about WHERE to draw the line…. looks as if he was right in the modern day!

No surprise at the voting results of the GOP Gay Hate Poll.

There are always going to be a few who do not understand the true nature of the GOP Pukes. lol.

ty, TC.

I vote on polls and that is it, so I wouldn't know if you can vote more than once, but the three "yes" votes make me wonder. Perhaps some clicked the wrong button by mistake, perhaps our favourite troll wanted to do her bit for the GOP here too, and perhaps some people have so much faith in humankind - and haven't given up hope on Republicans like most of us seem to have - that they believe there is some goodness, some true Christian spirit hidden deep inside a few of them and that this will shine through in the end. And I really wish I could think that, but sorry, no.
Any Republican that has this epiphany will leave the party and join another.

Pollyanna, Pangloss, and Rose (she of the colored glasses) LOL. As Jim says, there are always some (plenty in the general population actually) who don't grasp how totalitarian the GOP is - but still surprising to find them here. Lona may be right since no comments were left on the viewpoint.

RepubliCONs have no shame. Their righteous stupidity prevents them feeling humiliation – unless caught with their pants down – and even then it’s not from getting caught, just the usual comparison of not measuring up..;)

Given the strength of their man-crushes on Vladimir Putin, you'd think they'd at least have sense enough to be a little quieter about their anti-gay rhetoric. Or is it the other way around, given how anti-gay they are, they should maybe tone down the Putin-love? Whatever. Hypocrisy could walk up, twist their noses into a braid, and they STILL would never recognize it as having any relation to them.

It may be the end of success with the agenda the three saw perhaps--I saw that TN court ruled out of state same gender marriages were legal in TN, too, now.

States are dropping like flies in a winter cold blast. Very soon it will be all 50 states and why not? What do Americans say about other countries that have a portion of their population banned or treated as "unclean". We mock them, we talk about how disgusting the practice is and we still hold this country up as an example of all that is good and right. Why do the GOP hate? I'm not sure that they are aware of the hate speech they propagate, or maybe they are and it makes them feel all warm and superior.

Results of this poll are far too accurate, I'm afraid.

I agree with the majority. Can't imagine the rabid Right changing their tactics at this point; they'll just come at it from a different direction. Besides, the governor of AZ has said she won't run again, so they can work on the new governor. That is, if the people of AZ are crazy enough to elect another Republican. Thanks for the post, TomCat.

Teapublicans are frightened little people, not little in stature, but, little in mentality.
Their desire for POWER & CONTROL comes from their fears.
They fear everyone and everything they don't comprehend, and use 'god' as their source.

Does a leopard ever change its spots?

Arizona is just one instance. The Republicanus/Teabaggers are good at trying over and over and over and over . . . after all, how many times have they tried to repeal Obamacare?

They want what they want, and they'll do anything and everything to achieve their goals.
