Here are the results of our Iraq Response Poll. Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories. Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population. Nevertheless, our polls are often both accurate and indicative of the nationís view.

Sending a few hundred advisers and giving weapons to ' moderate' rebels who have been vetted Is not my idea of humanitarian aid. I do hope this administration will set some money aside for all the refugees that are now fleeing the Caliphate.

Who besides the NRA's weapons manufacturers thinks arming the second side is peacemaking? Would prefer the reason for the 275 is that Congress refused to fund the State Dept. for needed embassy security.

I wanted humanitarian aid only and that only because we are the ones who broke in and stole their country, not that Saddam was a nice fellow, but we had no business interfering in another countries internal structure in the way we did. WE owe them for that, but they need sort out the rest from within, no outside imposed solution will ever last long in the middle east. It never has.

The news today is that Obama sent 300 more troops for a total of about 700 to essentially guard the US embassy. Now I wonder whay Boehner will say? Perhaps something like "Obama is not authorised to spend that money!" and then he'll get Issa on it and there will be another "investigation" to stir the pot and the pretense of a scandal.

Republicanus/Teabaggers will do anything, literally anything including selling their souls (that presumes they have souls!) to the devil, just to attack that "uppity black man" in the White House. Mr Obama, stand your ground and shove these lily livered kochroaches back into the hole from which they escaped.

This mess is never going to go away. We should not have gone there to begin with, and we seem to have made matters worse for the people who live there. They are going to keep on killing each other no matter what we do.

Thanks all. Humanitarian aid must be given in person by humanitarians, not given to the malike government to steal.
