Having trouble not barfing at your posts today, TC - but then, when you put Perry, Hannity, Bush, Cheney, and Agent Orange all on the same page, what can anyone expect? I'd like to have five minutes alone with any one of them so I could vent all my rage and frustration which seems to keep increasing every day. I will admit I like seeing the President getting a little snarky - he's been patient far too long in my book and while there is nothing he can say to break thru their thick hides, it all makes me feel better.

Brick sea window puzzle time: 5:16.

Kerry is taking a bad rap for not creating peace all over the world as if he can load an app to make it happen.

The Boehner lawsuit will never leave the shore let alone float.

Trying desperately not to hurl, blow chunks, puke, or otherwise expel all the coffee in my stomach over these Fascist Buffoons of the day, Cat Man!!!!!

Your 'toon is soooooo dead-on, Cat Man. It says it all.

I have a friend using Safeway's grocery delivery program--her main complaint is the quality of the produce they choose for her.
Kudos to Kerry for actually reading the writing that's been on the wall for decades.
I'm so glad standing gets such scrutiny (like with Prop. 8) because otherwise anyone who doesn't get their way or what they like on legislative or government decisions could sue--tantrum style---like Boehner is threatening.

New Yorker: Truth be told, Andy. Unfortunately, a dose of these two Perry/ Hannity are the gems of the RePugs, and yes, set an example of who NOT to exemplify.!!
Think Progress: UGH.!! Boehner IS definitely Barf material this morning.!!
Cartoon: Exactly.!
Kudos on your day 85, WTG.!! Hope that your food delivery goes well today. Not feeling my perky self today, think I'm gonna go chase my tail, and take a dog nap. Do have a good day, take care, and Thanks, Tom.

5:07 Cool view.

New Yorker - Well, it certainly could happen. On the other hand, they've probably been exposed to enough corruption at home to smell it when they see it here. But - just to be on the safe side - let's keep Gohmert away from there.

NY Times - Steps in the right direction, but baby steps. I wish Afghanistan all the luck in the world. They are going to need it.

Think Progress - I certainly agree that he can't do that, but nevertheless, he is doing it. While I approve of the appeal process generally, I certainly don't approve of its use to keep a frivolous suit tied up in the courts. But what can you do. Money. Maybe the Baggers will try to impeach anyway. Who knows with crazies. But if Boehner thinks his own actions are not embarrassing the party, he needs to think again.

Cartoon - Good one.

You've got 85 on the Day counter, TomCat, so you're still going strong, I see. Now you have to do it without chemical aid, and probably sleeping deeper because of it, I'll lower the dosage of the catnaps even more so they limit themselves to a refreshing, short sleep.

The New Yorker: LOL Andy is so right. If Perrey and Hannity can make it in the US, surely for an immigrant who endured hardship and risked his life to get here and who's willing to work his A$$ off to make himself a life, success is in the cards big time. And don't worry about them selling their souls, the 1% has absolutely no interest in the souls of illegal immigrant until they become legal and are allowed to vote.

NY Times: It seems that Kerry has convinced both rivals to agree to a complete recount of the 8 million votes. That will take a long time, especially if this is going to be done under the watchful eye of impartial controllers, so Kerry has bought himself a bit more time to find a solution for the explosive situation the election has led to.

Think Progress: this whole lawsuit against Obama is so utterly ridiculous it isn't worth the paper the litigation was printed on. If I were a Democrat in Congress I would demand to know exactly how much of federal money is spent on this very personal hobby of Boehner. If he's only doing it to appease his own fellow GOPers, that makes it an internal affair on which he should spend some of that Koch money he's getting for doing this.

The Cartoon says it all.

Congratulations TC on #85. . .almost to the quarterly report! Agree with all of the above comments. . .second the motion on Lona's Koch money idea. . .and can someone please put up a 24/7 reader board logging constant costs of Republican antics time wasted in congress to date. . .then assess/invoice the GOP weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually . . .even though we know they're not good for it. . . oh, and include any treatments/remedies for nausea onset due to GOP activities under ACA coverage requirements...obviously at least half the population needs/will need them...

Puzzle — 3:28 What a magnificent view! It reminds me of the Mediterranean but with the red brick, I think it is more likely in North or South America.

The New Yorker — Hannity and Perry, stupid is and stupid does! What more can I say.

"…an immigrant from Honduras, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “We all said to ourselves, if those two can succeed in America, imagine the wondrous things we might achieve.”"

He's got that right! Very good Andy. One today is good too!

NY Times — "You reap what you sow" is so true. The US under Baby Bush sowed a dictatorship, a seemingly US beholden dictatorship. That didn't go so well so plan B, reform the government and power structure to keep the country together after so many "years of mounting political crises and ethnic and factional hostilities."

Think Progress — I think the only injury Boehner suffered because of Obamacare was when he fell off his bar stool after hearing the most recent attempted repeal failed.

"Of course, all Boehner wishes to do here if to get his lawsuit tied up in the courts until after the elections. As I have said before, it is a mere pretense, and it’s only intent is to stop the Baggers from embarrassing the rest of the party by trying to impeach Obama."

Get out the vote to show Boehner that delaying until after the election is ridiculous . . . after all, the Teabaggers have already embarrassed the party on other matters and we remember.

Cartoon — Love Inspector Goosestep! That's a keeper!

The New Yorker: I agree with your summary, TC That is, if either of then even have a soul.

NY Times: Maybe Kerry has found his calling. If he brokered this agreement, things may improve in Afghanistan. Bush planned for both Afhganistan and Iraq to be puppet governments to enrich the oil industry.

Think Progress: The only thing I can see wrong in this article is the possibility that Boehner could think that far ahead.

LOve the cartoon. It fits so well with all the nonsense being spewed by the Obama haters.

Yep. Only in A Murka can someone like Rick Perry actually get elected to public office. No wonder the flood gates are open right now.

Love the piece on Boehner's idiocy. Only a really dumb lawyer (or a really smart one - wonder how much per hour they are charging for this farce) would take on a case where no one has been injured. That's like suing someone because they ran a red light, but didn't hit anyone and no one was coming from the other direction. Pointless. Except for the fact that they have to have something going on to make their base scream about the Democrats.

TNY - This is so sick, it's
believable......
NYT - So obvious from the

popping up to confirm it....
TP - Welllll, when did the
"facts" ever get in the way
of one of their snit fits?....
Cartoon nails it to the door...
Thought I was laying bricks
faster than that, but, not
today........
