It’s been a long, long time since the last time Democrats had anything major to celebrate on election day. In NJ, the Reich that Pignocchio built is history. and in Virginia, Democrats won all the major offices. Also, they might still flip control op the House of Delegate in spite of the Republican Gerrymandering that the court is about to redistrict, before 2018.

You are not the only person who is pleased about Danica! People are doing happy dances all over the Internet about her (of course, there are also the ones that are whining "How are we going to tell our children?" You know, I remember Christine Jorgenson, and I don't remember having any difficulty understanding what had happened. It did get me a little hung up on surgery being a necessary part of it, but I think I'm over that.)

Thanks especially for quoting from WaPo. I am over my article limit right now so it was good to see some of their opinion.

RESIST AND PERSIST !!!

I remember Christine Jorgensen too. I just did a bit of research and found that she was born in my home town, Da Bronx, and I was just 9 y/o when she had the operation. It sounded like science fiction, but according to a letter she sent soon after the operation, she was finally her real self, and so happy.
Danica sounds so authentic and real, and down to earth!
Now, if only Roy Moore can be taken down, on Dec.12th, this will be an even more amazing year!

Jorgensen went to Christopher Columbus H.S., where I would have gone had I not moved.

Knowing that the election was coming, and reading the e-mails etc that said the race for the Virginia governor was very close, I was heartened to hear in the radio news that Dems won the day.  Now to hear that in Virginia the spread was 9 points, — WOW!!!

Excellent piece from Lawrence.  Danica listened to her constituents and won the day.

KUDOS!!!

There was no silence in Virginia!  Let’s hope that Virginia is the seer in 2018!

Resist, Persist and Remove!!!

Silence is Consent!!!
