This is a great post, mi amor! It is said that pet owners generally live longer and healthier, than those who don't own pets. Stress has caused problems for people's health, so.. it makes total sense that people would live longer and healthier. :-)

Absolutely true.Animals are the ultimate de-stressers in that they don't judge or discriminate. They give unconditional love.I've had pets all my 40 years and have worked with them for 5 years now. Some people may well discredit their importance...their relevance in people's lives...but I tell Darren says, they do have such a way of making you happier...healthier...and that just inspires me all the more to give them the voice they deserve in this mad world.

noted and yes big kind thank you Teresa. Indeed, undoubtedly, our animal soul mates are our best friends, de-stressors, make us LOL, we love talking to them and know they understand every word we say, the very comforting company, never alone, they teach us so much..hey, what more could we ask for..the little animal says "if you ever need a friend, you know you can always count on me and I will love you unconditionally no matter what, it is just who I am"..thank you Teresa for sharing..and the eyes of Galen are gorgeous/Ty

Thanks for all your comments from the heart!, I am grateful, for me this article and posting this news was very important, also I posted it in groups of adoptions, health and friendship, cause animals deserve to receive love from us, because THEY GIVE A LOT TO US. Time to understand and honor animals. You are great people. And great people always have love for animals. Thanks for sharing your experiences with your pets here, you will leave in this lines a message to those that need comfort and support, and now they know they can find it in a pet.

Thank you again!

Sage: Yes, he has those eyes and his father Iñaqui had them too. White cats, most of the times when they have blue eyes they are deaf, at least 70% of them are. So white cats with one eye blue and the other yellow or coper color are not deaf.

This is my cat Henry who loves to lick bananas and sink his teeth into them. He also enjoys stealing Qtips and playing with them, licking photos, and purring on my back while I sleep. Unlimited unconditional love!

Beautiful cat. Reminds me of a cat our family had when I was a young child. She has long fluffy hair like that one (was grey though) and had one yellow and one green eye.

All our pets have given us so much - much more than we could ever give them. Their unconditional Love, their patience, their Love & so many other qualities that people will never possess. Without our pets, our family would never have know the greatest Love, besides God's Love for us - for all the guardians & the responsible pet people, I say - Find a soul mate, your heart Love, in a pet. They will always lead the way to goodness.
