Excuse me? Why should American citizens pay for this? Let the American companies/corporations who left the USA to go to China for cheap labor pay for it! They went there to make money off of slave labor, and kept their prices high. Too bad! We should not have to pay for their greed!

Let's pay some of our debt to China by taxing them for the honor of producing our products in their country. Since they and the companies are taking advantage of the poor citizens of their country and the awful mess our representatives have created for our citizens, let them pay for the cost. Maybe if they feel the pinch they may want to just stay in America and give back some of what they took away.

What we all should do is stop making China rich by making things we can do in our own countries.

If we buy from China we all must pay their mistakes.

I think that if we are going to pay for these emission charges, than we should just bring all of our manufacturing back home where we hopefully care about our environment, at least more than china does theirs, forget about china all together and make our own stuff with all of our own standards

Marylyn, I repeat it for you because it is so true:

What we all should do is stop making China rich by making things we can do in our own countries.

If we buy from China we all must pay their mistakes.
