It's not yet clear whether authorities suspect Rozita Swinton of Colorado Springs made any of the calls that triggered this month's raid of the compound.

An arrest warrant affidavit made public Wednesday says a phone number she had used previously was used for a call to a Texas crisis center before authorities conducted the raid and removed more than 400 children. Swinton's whereabouts are unknown.

Sorry for the blank space I have never posted anything before.

Yes it was wrong for that women to pretend to be someone she wasn't and IF she did that then yes she should be punished, But what about these men that were abusing the children that lived on that compound ? Do we let it slide and forget what was going on just because this women made a phone call. This is out now and there is no turning back from this. The men that live on that compound were teaching women and children that they have no identity other then the men they are connected to. Is that right ? Is it right to teach young girls that the only goal in life is to have babies and make your man look good.

The thing is, police officials are required to check out every complaint of abuse, whether it turns out to be legitimate or not. It's definitely a sticky situation in this case . . . .

I agree with Teresa, but, unfortunately, that is the bologna that a lot of religions preach... and we do have freedom of religion. BUT, if there is any truth to the marrying of underage children and child abuse... then it is a good thing that SOMEONE called!

I agree......If there is any moral wrong doing here that should be investigated. This sect has had it problems socially & legally to say the least but if there is no proof of these particular children being sexually abused then by all rights they should be given back.

And I do question deeply the impact the outside world will have on these children who live in a way that is so unconnected to our frantic pace of life.

Isn't this how we all should be living anyway......With children who are so polite and educated in ways our own are not? Hopefully they can be re-united with there moms.

Also....this Rosita is further investigated of why she made that phone call. To look at this woman's picture & consider where she lives is all very suspicious to me.

they are not equally fair.
The road we have long been traveling is
deceptively easy, a smooth superhighway on
which we progress with great speed,
but at its end lies disaster.
The other fork of the road—the one
"less traveled by"—offers our last, our only
chance to reach a destination that assures
the preservation of the earth."

If it turns out that this is the woman who made that call, how did she know what was going on at the compound?

Celia....Good question!!!!!!
I still say there is something very funny/suspicious about this woman. She appears to be black & is very far away from Texas.

Time will prove me right!!!!!!!!

I just got to say religion is the accepted insanity. There is NO atheist in training compounds like Mormons have. It's time to criticize religion in public. THERE IS NO GOD!!!!!! And therefore no reason to abuse children in the name of GOD!!!!!

Even if there is no God there is a moral obligation
to ones-self & the children we produce/procreate to be
teachers of the moral & just principles to live by.

I do believe in God and the God I believe in is a just god... But this whole thing isn't just about religion... Its also about keeping children safe and some of the young girls from that compound that are married with children or with babies on the way are children themselves. How is it right that these group of men be allowed to abuses these girls in the way they have and not be punished for it... We see me on that program To catch a predator... and we are disgusted by what they are caught for but we someone put a religious tag on it are we to let it slide ?
