Just wanted to thank you all, Just got some big news about Suzanne B. O'Brien that I can't share as of yet but it's BIG and all of you are kind of part of it. We will make the announcement hopefully soon on her face book page https://www.facebook.com/suzannebobrien

Can't tell you the BIG news but can tell you Suzanne is in negotiations with a publisher on a new book called "Positive Passings" and has been featured in several international articles, radio shows and can be seen on New Yorks (WMHT) PBS Health Link with Benita Zahn which will air on April 10, 2014. . You can also visit her website at http://www.suzannebobrien.com/meetsuzanne.html.

What a beautiful, kind way to share of yourself. I wonder if I would have the strength to share the experience of another's passing without projecting my wishes and fears upon them. I particularly loved the statement “I sit down and talk with them. I don’t want to teach or lecture or tell them what they have to do. I just want to be there so they can open up and feel appreciated and seen as who they are.” I think everyone should have that, especially when facing an end to thislife. Thanks for this, Steven.

Wow! How beautiful all these comments are and thank you all. I am so lucky to be working with Suzanne B. O'Brien and spreading the light of this beautiful project. You will be hearing a lot about her in the news and media. We can't do this alone and every personal contribution on here is adding momentum, love and strength to a Positive Passing. Again, thank you ALL!

Doula's are becoming more well know and popular in the US. My daughter in law used one for the birth of my grandson, who happens to be her son. Doula's are wonderful, and trained for their field whether it is beginning of life or end of life.

There needs to be a way for people to die with dignity in their own homes, instead of being sentenced to a "prison" without the possibility of parole, as many nursing and hospice facilities have been termed. This article has some interesting ways to do that. Thanks for posting it!
