Slow down...., consume less..... let's say that we in the so called 'developed world' have some (a rather big one even) margin, we use/consume so much hat less 'can be discussed'.

But try to explain this to those who live in the emerging countries, try to explain with good reasons why THEY don(t have the right to do what you (ok, and I) did (and still do....) for years, spoiling the (their) world doing so....

Pretty much screwed....? Hard to be more screwed than we are....

How much did they spend to tell us what we've known intuitively for a long time?

We are doing it to ourselves.

Sad, but true. However, each of INDIVIDUALLY does have the option to consume less; to stockpile food and/or grow our own; to begin to live much more in harmony with all of nature; to quit buying the latest and greatest and find that place of enough. Will it save ALL of humanity, no probably not. Might it save you? Absolutely.

The extinction of the human specie is needed now to save the Planet Earth.

About a few thousand years would be needed for the Planet Earth to clean itself.

"“The plants, crops, and animal species man has wrought by his own hand would be wiped out in a century or two,” Wilson says. In a few thousand years, “the world would mostly look as it did before humanity came along—like a wilderness.”"

ty, Mari.

reminds me of the book written about not "if" but "when" we're not around and what will happen sequentially...

What a waste of money, extinction is the ultimate end for every species so why spend money to 'prove' it.
