I've seen this before, on YouTube I think. The consensus was the female probably started out as slim, because it would be an insult to have done it the other way. Regardless, it's proof of what is possible (by media) and how we (women) have allowed 'them' to distort our own image of what is attractive versus healthy. Granted, large is sometimes unhealthy, but often it is not!
