Legalising Hunting By the Back Door?! - Please Sign!

Any move to lift the restriction on the number of dogs (currently 2) allowed to be used to flush wild mammals to guns would remove essential elements of the Act, undermining it and rendering it toothless.

Noted. I've sent this to the friends I have in the UK, all of whom think that hunting with dogs, as if the traditional "fox" hunt is nothing but a show of cowardliness. 20 dogs - 1 fox. Real fair. Not! Hunting should only be if you need to do so to feed your family and you intend on using everything that the animal sacrifices for you, not for sport.

Such weakening of the ban would be nothing more than an underhand attempt to effectively legalize the horror of wild mammals being chased and torn apart by packs of dogs once more.
Don’t let us return to the barbaric days of hunting with dogs

Sadly this is no surprise given the politics of our current Government. I have written to my Tory MP many times regarding this issue and others, I think that it is appropriate to say that we do not agree on many issues!

Fox hunting and similar so called sports are not sporting at all when the prey is greatly outnumbered by the hunting animals. Therefore this is simply brutal and cowardly on the part of the perpetrators. In this day and age there should be no need to tear animals to bits for recreation. How about chasing one of the cowardly hunters all around the place and letting the hounds tear them to bits for a change, any volunteers hunters? Nah thought not.

If anyone not living in the UK wants to show their support then they could e-mail the UK Prime Minister using the following link:
Please do everything you can to show the British Government that people all over the world don't want the hunting ban lifted.
