Only 3 other jobs reports in the history of the Labor Department had a larger gap between the employer and household survey. Here are some other facts about last Friday’s historic jobs report.

It would have helped if California had not held their numbers back. They never made it into this report which explains a lot. No way the numbers are right. Unemployment is still over 8% and a lot higher than that if we factor in the people who have just stopped looking for work.
