I attended the funeral of an ex Vietnam vet. He had no family but the navy sent along 3 representatives who had never met him or had any idea who he was (duty?). Dead veterans with or without families are dead. I have 'grave' doubts that they give a damn how they are burried, upside down, back to front or otherwise. Dead is dead, this petition is pointless. Thanks Rose but the debarcle about dead Oz troops being bought home upside down, which you may be aware of?, in their coffins is equally absurd...

War is an expensive business, just one Cruise missle costs more than enough to give a decent funeral to all veterans, surely this is the final vote of thanks that any society can give to those who have fought for it.

Dear Howard...These kids did not fight for the freedom of America, Australia or any other country. They were sent to war in foreign countries far away to kill people or be killed... By politicians based in comfy offices and subservient to the military war machine...These kids are not heroes, they are dead.
