I won't sign this petition as it has a tracking cookie attatched to it. How do I know this?

I have all my anti-tracking protections running(with limited success-my anti virus still finds some-annoying) and when I go to the site all I see are blank spaces(no "name" here, "email address" here, "address" here, "zip code" here, etc). This means I would have to disable all my anti-tracking protection. The only reason this is necessary is so the site can attach a tracking cookie.

Tracking cookies are used almost exclusivey by advertisers to follow you and target you with commercials that you showed an interest in at sometime before based on where you went.

I hate that. Detest. Loathe. Abhor that.

Have you ever notice that you showed an interest in a particular, say, vitamin? A couple of days or later in the day, you see that same product on an unrelated page? That is the work of a tracking cookie. And your info is bought and sold like auction or the tracking cookie itself(firmly attached to your computer) is bought and sold.

I refuse to sign any petition that requires tracking cookies or a facebook account to sign. The only reason for either of these is for tracking.

I don't go anywhere suspect(research papers, recipes shopping, reading in general) but I hate this underhanded approach.
