McDonald's is giving its employees holiday "financial tips" like, "Selling some of your unwanted possessions on eBay or Craigslist could bring in some quick cash" and "Sing away stress: singing along to your favorite songs can lower your blood pressure."

I signed.....disgusting advice. As someone said it was the same advice that the Third Reich gave to those in the Concentration Camps. They need to pay their help a "living wage".

The sad thing is that is a confession from McDonald's that their wages are way tooooo low. OR this is as close, to a confession, as we will ever hear or read about.

A homeless man on Rodeo drive approaches a well dressed rich woman and says to her: "Lady, I haven't eaten in 3 days." and she says, "Gee I admire your will power, I wish I could do that!" and walked on. ---That's the 1% attitude towards the rest of us.

Perhaps they should try paying more instead so people have the money to pay their bills and buy the food they need.

Thank you dearest Robert and Dandelion for the road map here! ABSOLUTELY SIGNED, 3 times as I have 3 email accounts! What irks me is the Gaul of them to even suggest:
#1) having a 'garage sale' on e-bay...
#2) preaching about lowering blood pressure through song (YES) while serving the most NON NUTRITIOUS JUNK ONE COULD EAT and ensuring they will never have enough money to purchase anything that even resembles healthy food...I could rant forever regarding the Health issues re: this, but unnecessary as you all know!
"I forget #3 as my blood pressure is rising...

I have been thinking about big ugly cor$ HAVING to...“holding a food drive—for its own employees!”
("...a Walmart in Ohio is “holding a food drive—for its own employees!”) quite a bit this year, wondering if this was good or bad. Yes, how PATHETIC is that?
PEOPLE HAVE TO EAT=good.
UGLY EVIL $$$ believes they CAN EAT MONEY and at all cost will throw a bread crumb=EVIL! I am sure they are investing their billions into robots or high teck while the 99% starve to death and the 1% enjoy all due Karma...
DO YOU GET THE IDEA HOW I LOATHE THIS ARSE BACKWARDS WORLD WE ARE LIVING IN? Not to mention my Hate (ugliest word I know) of Mackie-D.
Forgive my rant. I'll regret this as soon as I hit sub...

a Walmart in Ohio is “holding a food drive—for its own employees!”

What the hell have these banana brains been smoking? If I didn't know better, I would have sworn that video was intended to be humor and sarcasm. Just one more reason to steer clear of the Golden Arches - because only those on the very top get any gold.

Noted, signed and shared. I actually signed and shared this a little earlier today as I too received the email, but again I have signed numerous petitions to congress about raising the minimum wage. If these multi-million dollar companies would just pay a living wage to their employees, several things would happen. Workers would probably not have to rely on the ever shrinking "safety net" which will make them happier and it should also make conservatives happy because there would be less "takers." These workers would then be paying more into the Social Security system which would go a long way to cure the perception that there isn't enough being paid into that system to make it solvent. It only makes sense that if people actually make enough to live on, they will then be able to buy a variety of products and services which will certainly help the economy, especially the local economies. *sigh*

Signed, noted, tweeted and shared on all platforms! This has got to happen ASAP! People cannot live a life on the current minimum wage! You can't even get off food stamps!!
There has to be some way to get the 1% to realize that the status quo is not going to work anymore! They can't just keep piling money offshore and think that that is the right thing to do!
The Waltons are 4 of the top 10 in richest people!! They have the sheer gall to "have a food drive for Associates" and still keep paying such low wages?!?! Crack open that safe you got a little bit of the hoards of money in and pay your people like Costco does!!
Or would that just shatter your safety net of voluminous was of money?
I digress. The evil ones are winning and I can't stand it!
Share this and Boycott McD's and wally-world!!
