All of these entrances are to the left side of Area 51 in the Nevada Test Range.

I've always been interested in this. I don't however recommend anybody goes there now. They had some huge radiation accident and the place is very dangerous. Shut down isn't it?

The Air Force Flight Test Center is a range where experimental aircraft are developed and tested. Facilities for such testing are located there as are facilities manned by government contractors working there.

Obviously secrecy is maintained and non-essential visitors are not allowed there. No government advertises or allows unnecessary access to its development of weapons programs.

And there are many legitimate reasons why underground facilities may be used.

I haven't seen anything concerning any "huge radiation accident."

My thoughts are that it would be cooler underground in the desert, but it is also a good way to hide many things. Could be preparation for who knows what. Interesting. Of course I'm off to google earth it.

What are the big green circles outside Rachel NV? Why is this article tagged "DUMB"?

Very interesting. Always wanted to go there. Never heard of a radiation accident. Could be something they made up to keep people out. Never know. Thanks, Gregory.
