Like Dennis, John, by running for president, spoke words on national TV that would not otherwise have been permitted to be spoken on corporate owned media.
This has forced the chemical, biological , military dictatorship to back off their agenda, quiet their propaganda, and allow the candidates to discuss CHANGE without being ''swift-boated'' by the military empire ruling over our nation.

Bravo.

I liked Edwards. Of all the candidates, I think he would have set a tone to reign in the czars of industry where greed is king. His platform was innovative, and he truly cared about the quality of life and health of the average American. I hope people didn't hold his good looks, expensive hair cuts, and big house and success as a lawyer against him. He came across as sincere and not full of ego. I read how he would go into court against a table full of corporate lawyers and dazzle the court room with his thorough knowledge of the case and skillful presentation. And he always won. He blew the opposition away. He would have been an outstanding President. Hope Hillary chooses him as her vice president or attorney general.

I'm tired of the super-rich constantly telling everyone how they care about the poor. I don't buy it. I never trusted him; Not that I completely trust the others.

Pamela,
I know that it is hard to trust anyone who has to spend millions of dollars to run for president,
but Americans are NOT GIVEN any other choice.
That is a part of the problem.

I costs millions of dollars to run for any public office ...campaign ads are expensive and everything else is too...if you dont spend the money you dont get the word out to the people. that is the stark reality.... John Edwards is a successful lawyer....why does that make him not ok???
At least he is talking about helping the poor....
it amazes me that people complain that they are poor and not being helped and then someone comes along willing to at least talk about helping them and it is not ok because the guy is rich....

The military contractors who OWN our nation's ONCE FREE press are happy to collect both our money and the money that they, themselves, have donated to politicians through their lobbyists and pacs.

I think presidential primaries should begin on the day after a president is sworn into office.
I think the FCC should force every form of media to devote one percent of their operaton to giving FREE time, and FREE space, to those running for public office.
It is when we are NOT electing leaders, then, when we are NOT LOOKING, that OUR problems are being CREATED.
