Several horses and a pony were severely underweight, and one died Feb. 6 from a ruptured gut due to poor nutrition, according to court documents.

i hope the surviving horses make a speedy recovery and be placed somewhere they will be safe

ONLY a year in jail? It is high time that the laws were changed to strengthen the penalties for abusers. I pray that the rest of the animals make a speedy recovery and find 'forever' homes.
