Noted. I seldom eat chickpease...in fact, I never even considered buying them. Having read this story, however, I have added them as an inexpensive alternative to work into my diet. Thanks, Adrian!

Chickpeas are great and one of the earliest cultivated vegetables. 7,500-year-old remains have been found in the Middle East. Incredible that our forefathers ate more of the better foods than we eat today. Chickpeas are just wonderful to eat by themselves with a little lemon juice and olive oil.
