Waterfalls: You can hike to them, dance underneath them, appreciate them from afar, and listen to them up close. They're majestic and powerful, and no two look alike.

Still have a couple left to see--the pix don't do them full justice.

My favortite is Snoqualmie Falls, WA because it's wider than the other falls are. I prefer a wider falls.

I love anything with water, from the smallest rippling stream to the deepest ocean, and including waterfalls and even fountains. Thank you for these lovely West Coast waterfalls, they made my day.

Cool-are they still flowing in this drought? To show the horrors of current day environmental education a young lady recently stopped by the park office (of the highest falls in the east) and asked if the rangers could turn on the water as she wanted to take a photo! We've been in a year long drought!

Ruth S., you should give a little credit to the processes of climate, weather, and erosion as well... Yes, these are lovely waterfalls. We have some really nice ones in Canada, too. Even my dog once had a comment when he saw a waterfall (Ram River Falls, in the province of Alberta in Canada) for the first time: "WOOF!"
