Stop Unfair Tax Breaks for Millionaires

Many in Congress are pushing for a major budget showdown on revenue and spending during the "lame duck" session between now and January -- and Republicans will almost certainly push for more tax cuts for those who don't need them, while holding middle-class tax cuts hostage.

We can't let them get away with it.

Sign the petition now, and demand no continuation of unfair tax breaks for the wealthiest, no matter how temporary, or Democrats walk away from the table.

TELL, ME, PLEASE!

Why do liberals permit conservatives to tell the world (not that many believe them), that the lower and middle classes want _gifts_ from government?
We should not be on the defensive. We should be on the offensive.

THE TRUE RECIPIENTS OF _GIFTS_ FROM OUR GOVERNMENT ARE THE WEALTHY.

Everything is geared toward them, especially, our tax structure. Who among us, can take 'vast' amounts of money in decuctions from their taxes?
How many of us worry about a Capital Gains tax?
How many of us get insider trading tips, as they do?
Why do average people enter government employment and leave millionaires?

The list goes on and on.
We must stop this nonsense and start attacking the right targets.

We KNOW he's going to let them expire. Republicans aren't smart enough to do the right thing.

Right wing parties always give tax breaks to the wealthy, the NZ National party has done exactly the same. Their claim is of course the myth that there is a trickle down effect. The problem is it never does. The mystery to me is why so many ordinary middle class voters fall for it.

Aside from the now proven lies, tax cuts pay for themselves and tax cut create jobs, there is one really big pile of crap in the middle of the room that seems to avoided by every one ALL INCOME MUST BE TREATED AND TAXED THE SAME. Income through: Interest, Capital Gains, Debt purchase( yes debt that is how Romney/Bain and others 'hide their wealth') you buy debt for profit but are not taxed on the amount of money you invest in buying the debt, inheritance, trust funds and all of the other schemes must all simply become INCOME. If you go to a Casino gamble and win all of your winnings at taxed as income in one big lump at ~35% and your losses are just losses BUT if you are in the 98%, if you are in the 2% and gamble through yourself as an incorporated corporation in the Stock market, Commodities, Futures, Hedge Funds et alia you will pay 15% or less on those 'winnings" AND you can profit/earn income from your losses if you also bet against yourself at the same and the double bet earnings are also taxed at ~15%. The system has been rigged by allowing the 2% to write the Tax laws so that no matter how they EARN their income, that actually earns their income, they always start off paying less than half the rate for people who actually Work for a living then they can deduct their jets, their second-third-fourth homes, off shore their money....
