Papa John decided to stretch the truth a bit about Obamacare. So, CNN staffers decided to actually do their jobs and fact-check the partisan pizza maker. What they found won't surprise you. And it won't make you hungry, either.

Let's just set aside real math and say that Papa John's (slime pizza) needed to increase by 15 cents - who cares? On the rare occasion that I do order a pizza, first I order from a local Italian restaurant, so it does taste good, and it costs me no more money than processed pizza. The employees are full time, and the owner is very happy to pay his employees more than minimum wage and offer benefits. So I don't really care about those whining about Obamacare or minimum wage. Let them go bankrupt, small, local business will step in and hire those people back and offer a better product.

Those who do order from Papa John's or Domino's have long since forgotten what pizza should taste like and don't care if the crap they eat costs another $2.15, they will still order. Of course, if they are high or drunk or just too tired to get up and cook they would probably pay another $5.00 just to have anything delivered.

So shut-up Papa John and pay the employees that made you a very rich man.

Thanks Kit---I am REALLY tired of the whining about their entitlement from such as this corporate voice who should be giving the credit to the employees that create his income and justly rewarding them!

I wonder if the owner and spokesman is it John Schnatter or some thing close to that, realizes just how stupid this sounds to the public? "The Sky is Falling" yeah, we have heard it all before and are not so easily conned any longer.

I too am terribly tired of the whining. Did they really think they could be greedy forever with no consequences? Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled kids.

Domino Pizza in Israel is one of the best pizzas. I wonder if there is a difference between the ones here and those in the States. Thanks J>L>

I remember certain things about places I've been. I remember the fresh bread in Italy. the smell filling the street with its aroma; the gelato ice cream on a hot summer day and pizza made from scratch with real ingredients. The Pizza chains just don't cut it which is why I don't eat pizza here. Most pizzas made here use GMO or factory farm ingredients which is another reason I don't eat it.

Yeah, sadly Papa John's and their ilk only care about themselves. Heaven forbid they care about the folks that work for them. I prefer to make my own veggie pizza's-I know exactly what is in it and what isn't (gmo garbage). You can't get much fresher than 20 minutes-picked from the garden veggies, homemade crust and organic cheese. Dang, now I am hungry. lol

When I found out Papa John's is a major contributor to conservative elections I never had another bite not matter what I think of the product & service. That's the way I am.

*I'm sorry I'm unable to send a star to Kit, as I sent one already this week. Great comment, Kit!

we have Papa Murphy's here. Which papa came first?
Most places hire part time people anyhow. No health care for food service folks. Crabby customers acting out from low blood sugar, squalling and running brats, human pigs using the bathroom facilities....small wonder there are tip jars (and few tippers). High stress for low pay. Like having all your obnoxious Thanksgiving relatives coming over 365 days a year. Hurry hurry with that order.... Every once and a while, there is a bonus of finding someone's missing finger in the take out.
They deserve a living wage!!!

No surprises here. Typical republiCON lie. Betcha won't see this fact-finding result on FAUX news or hear it on hate radio. Thanks, CNN.

Why all that fuss about 15 cents a pizza? It's not cheap food or good for you. If I want a pizza I don't care about those small coins.
