Remember the name Tavi Gevinson. It's going to be a household name someday (probably with "President" in front of it).

For 15 she is well on her way, to figuring things out. Thanks to TED we are able to see the developing ideas of so many people doing so many different, positive things.

Good for her... the majority of men of this world have failed, when in power

Great story. Nice young woman, I hope she never loses that focus, because, more than she knows, she DOES have a lot of things figured out. And this is just the beginning.

Who in their right mind would want to be POTUS under the current system which is what you really need to change in order to make things right. Good luck kid.

I am impressed. We might even be ready for a female President by the time she reaches age 35.

Thanks J.L. Couldn't get the video. A female President of and for this country was needed long ago.

She is a truly impressive young woman and she will definitely make a difference one day if she has not done so already. She has a beautiful blend of intelligence, humor, very down to earth, and an innocent courage that will take her far in this world. Watch out world cuz Tavi is on her way up! Thanks J.L.

I understand your 15, but please don't stop at Nicks. There is a parade of brilliant female artists of the 80's and 90's that you should be listening to: Annie Lennox, Chrisie Hind, Deborah Harry, Joan Jet, early Bette Midler. Pat Benetar, Cyndi Lauper. These were the women who lead the 80's into the 90's.

Her video is one thing, the other thing you should take a look at is her rookie magazin. I do not see anything special in that, besides the fact that it is done by a 15 year old girl and this special reason to take a look at this magazine will disappear in the next 5 years.

Very informative for a teen debut. I think this video could assist young female teens today.... and maybe help young male teens understand them.
Kudos Tavi and good luck in your ventures!!

Thank you JL A
When we read of these young people trying to make a difference in a positive way, it gives us hope for the future.
An impressive presentation and an accomplished public speaker she deserves to succeed.
