There are several Reps and senators out now making proposals and claiming they have a budget compromise that has a chance or will pass-yet they have not found or agreed on this golden egg yet! Will they ever?..

Ryan,s math teacher must wonder at the "funny " math being presented to the country,by his (obviously non attentive ) pupil.
Ryans clergyman must wonder how Ryan became such a liar.! Iguess "false witness" failed to strike any chord with that egotistical nit wit!.

Noted. Why is she still talking about bringing down the debt when members of the GOP, (including Boehner), recently stated that we really don't have a problem with the debt right now? There WAS a bill: "The Back to Work Budget" that was voted on in the House earlier this week. It was a "progressive" budget that would've created nearly 7 million jobs in the first year alone, protected Soc.Sec., imposed a Financial Transaction Tax on Wall St, added a carbon tax, reduced the Pentagon budget, added higher tax brackets for millionaires & billionaires, revoked the subsidies for oil, gas & coal....and so many more items. It had the support of only a few dozen Dems....where were the rest of the Dems on this?!

Let's also not fail to forget the massive war profiteering that occurred...sucking our tax dollars up like a vacuum cleaner on steroids, and not included in the debt before Obama added it in a couple years back. This is GOP debt. United Technologies gross profit from war--$5.3 Billion
L-3 Communications--$956 Million, Northrop Grumman--$2.1 Billion, General Dynamics--$2.5 Billion,
Raytheon--$1.9 Billion, Boeing--$4 Billion, LockheedMartin--$2.7 Billion, BAE Systems--$2.5 Billion

This is the tip of the iceberg. These figures come from Truthout 3/14/13.

Sadly the House GOP lock-stepped today with Ryan's ghastly budget.
You are welcome Carol.

Well, there oughta be.
Seems to me
there's an unfair war
between the rich and the poor.
The struggling middle class
alas! alas!

Sounds like a big deal until the budget isn't actually a budget.

Update: the Senate voted down Ryan's plan...perhaps now his minions will work for the country as this video hoped?
