Knowledge is power and the GOP prefers Americans have neither. They are loving this.

This sequester is an unnecessary farce. Boehner and McConnell both admitted there is no debt crisis. It is just a way to destroy our economy and try to blame Obama for it. We all know that the budget is supposed to begin in the House. It is too bad that the House gets to decide on the spending when we have so many misfits in there right now. They can end the Sequester just by canceling it, but then they couldn't watch the rest of us suffer. Do they really think we will vote for them?

Don't forget to watch "Hubris" on RACHEL MADDOW show, MSNBC, tonight with a special with more info following it. I already saw it and will watch again. Brings back all the memories we have leading up to an unnecessary war.

How ya like it now? A few more months of this and will be back in a depression. This is one stupid way to run a government. First, the excuse was "NO" because we will make him a one term president. That didn't work as planned, now the answer is just, "NO". Congress is just making themselves look bad, people will not blame Obama, they will lay the blame exactly where it belongs; at the feet of the GOP.

No one that gives a speech like last night will be thought of poorly in the eyes of the world.

Seems to me...ya can't fix stupid.

From Randi Rhodes:

The GOP is DOA. LOL. I love that the Republican self-assessment immediately became known as an “autopsy.” Republicans used to have consultants. Now they have coroners. No more Frank Luntz for Republicans. Now they have Jack Klugman as “Quincy.” Conservatives say that changing the party’s message will alienate conservatives. So what? Where are they going to go—back to 1952? The autopsy is 97 pages long. It takes Republicans a lot of pages to say “We need to stop being idiots.” I guess it takes a long time to explain things to idiots. Here’s the conundrum: the Republicans need to attract other people into their party—and they despise everybody who is not already a Republican.

And therein lies the problem our country has.
