Quote from the article with the video:
"EMDR, or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, uses light-emitting devices patients follow with their eyes to reprocess traumatic memories.

People undergoing therapy are prompted to relive traumatic experiences in an effort to ultimately remember them differently."

evert time you relive a trauma you change it and if you are not in a very supportive knowledgeable environment reliving it will make the trauma worse. That is why rape victims for instance do not want to testify - it makes the trauma worse... They should be allowed to videotape the accessing of the memory while providing therapy and be able to use that in courtroom.

You cannot currently send a star to Carol because you have done so within the last day.

Marvellous, there are many who are in torment endless because of trauma that they have suffered. Some suffer in silence never getting help and others have not responded to whatever treatment is available. Something else can now offer hope to others affected by traumatic events which often can happen so randomly and without reason.
