What good is the "agency" then?? Fire all and find someone to do the Job!!

Somehow I seriously doubt the is the only agency has not collected from the proper sources for clean up costs. It should probably something constitutions demand in a yearly accounting, or we could just fine known polluters with a yearly tax for pollution costs.

The problem period was under Arnie's appointee...Brown has replaced with someone who may ensure function performed Sue.
CA posts a list of those who owe the biggest amount of state income taxes--maybe unpaid fines should also be posted? Posting could capture this type of problem on a routine basis (transparent, too).

This drives me NUTS! If you are going to hold someone liable for something that was done that hurts us all, make sure they are actually held accountable in every way! IDIOTS!

Well, I guess the good news is that this problem has been caught and now I hope fixed.

Interesting. I used to not know that these "superfund" sites are actually SUPPOSED to have the clean-up paid by the owners.
