What does it take to get the message to sink into the minds of the hydro industry and the government: "Dams are river killers. No new dams!" ? It's time that we have #solar on every American rooftop.

Good article but for those who have been keeping themselves informed this should be information they have. For those just learning, take heed this is why those of us who do know are against building more dams.

Very worth while article, thank you J L.

You are welcome Kit. It is also useful to verify that data hasn't changed for conclusions to be different now compared to in the past. You cannot currently send a star to Kit because you have done so within the last day.

So tired of being lied to about Everything. Can't we make a law that No one can lie to anyone else. If you have to lie, do it to yourself. Noted with thanks.

Some rivers at least need to be left wild, or restored to wild, or as wild as poss.

Noted & posted. Implementing scalar wave would remove the necessity of dams altogether.

Damn it! How do we pound into thick industry skulls that their dams, regardless of size are ecosystem killers!
