I'll never forget one day when I made a friend on the playground. She was a girl. You can hear the story in my second video and find out how you can bring play to kids like me.

Kids don't always get the play they need. But I'm lucky. When I was in kindergarten, KaBOOM! built a playground at my school—a playground where I got to meet a lot of other kids.

Kenneth on Friendship

Now we just have fun and play. Making friends on the playground gave me the confidence to be me.

I want other kids to have what I have now—days full of play with friends. Please give more kids the chance to make a friend on their playground. Without you, I wouldn't have met mine.

Me, a child would play with me for a couple of days and then would have to tell me, "My parents say I can't pay with you any more. I have to stay away from you."
