No Kid Hungry Cooking Matters at the Store

As a mom, grandmother, student and wife, Linda knows a thing or two about saving money and putting food on the table for her family. That is why all of us working on the No Kid Hungry campaign are so thankful that she is sharing her strength to teach others how to shop smarter.

Check out this video about Linda and how she's leading some of our Cooking Matters at the Store tours in her community and inspiring families to cook healthy, affordable meals at home.

In the past year, Cooking Matters at the Store reached more than 10,000 low-income adults across the country. And because of amazing volunteers like Linda, graduates of the program learn to stretch limited dollars while shopping and become empowered with the skills to provide more healthy food for their families at home.

Linda’s passion and commitment is making a difference in the lives of parents and children in her community. Watch this video, meet Linda, then learn how you can get involved in your state. You too can help empower families in your community to shop for and prepare healthy affordable meals, helping them end hunger at home.

Together, we’ll make No Kid Hungry a reality.
