We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you.

We’re expanding our health care portfolio; Childbirth Connection has joined forces with and become a core program of the National Partnership for Women & Families. (Read our press release here.)

We've been close allies for years and it's a perfect match — two women's health powerhouses uniting to improve maternal and child health in the United States.

And it’s also a time of great opportunity.

Working together, we will help transform our country’s health care system in order to improve women’s reproductive health, strengthen the quality of maternity care, and give all children in the United States the safe and healthy start they deserve.

Together, we will advance the goals of better access, better care and better outcomes.

But we need you on our side during this important transition, and we'd like to introduce you to some of the amazing work done by Childbirth Connection during its storied and trailblazing past.

Next week, we'll release “Listening to Mothers: The Experiences of Pregnant Women in the Workplace” that looks at pregnant women’s experiences with discrimination in the workplace — and later this spring, “The Rights of Childbearing Women.”

Thanks for all that you do!

Sincerely,

Thank You. I would like to see standardized birthing centers and doula programs in the US as well.
