But big utilities are up to their old tricks, lobbying the Public Utilities Commission to change the rules on Californians and make investing in solar a bad financial deal.

The California Public Utilities Commission will soon decide how long solar customers can expect to receive fair compensation under California’s popular and highly successful net metering program, which compensates solar panel owners for excess electricity they sell back to the grid.

But big utilities are up to their old tricks, lobbying the Public Utilities Commission to change the rules on Californians and make investing in solar a bad financial deal. That's why I started my own campaign on CREDOMobilize.com, which allows activists to start their own petitions. My petition, which is to the California Public Utilities Commission, says the following:

I believe in protecting Californians’ right to go solar and receive full credit for the clean energy they deliver to the grid. Net metering has been crucial to solar growth, and soon the Commission must decide how long solar customers may continue under the program’s current rules. Rooftop solar systems reliably produce power for 30 years or more, and solar customers expect long-term bill savings over the life of the system. I urge you to allow customers who install solar under the current net metering program to keep today’s rules for at least 30 years.

Sign the petition: Tell the California Public Utilities Commission to reject the attack on rooftop solar.

Under current law, California residents who install rooftop solar panels on their homes are able to receive fair credit for any excess electricity they provide to the power grid – helping pay off their investment by providing a clean source of energy to their neighbors. But if dirty-energy utility companies get their way, this arrangement will be dismantled.

Rooftop solar installations produce reliable power for 30 years or more, and solar customers should expect stable rules and predictable credit on their power bills to match. Changing the rules on solar customers after they've already made an investment would drastically slow our state’s solar momentum and leave Californians who invest in rooftop solar paying higher utility bills.

What kind of message would that send to all those families, schools and businesses who invested their own time and money to turn their roofs into clean power sources for all of us - and to others who are thinking about going solar now? We can’t let utility companies rewrite the rules for solar customers to protect their outdated, dirty-energy-intensive business models.

Will you join me and add your name to my petition telling the California Public Utilities Commission to stand strong in support of solar power?

Thank you for your support.

More trickery by big companies who don't want to share their obscene profits with anyone else.

A friend referred me to the following IMPORTANT video

The Most Important Topic of Our Time: Geoengineering and Chemtrails

Environment (tags: climate-change, ecosystems, destruction, globalwarming, habitatdestruction, healthconditions, pollution, water, weather )

Climate is manipulated by Raytheon, Monsanto, the Rothschilds, and the government. Formerly blue skies are covered with clouds, released by particulates dropped by commercial airliners. It is polluting the soil and water. Our health is at risk. Must see!

There's a video that I think every member of Care2 and every staff should see.

Humans, along with animals, mountains, rivers are endangered.

We have mad scientists who are both homicidal and SUICIDAL. It's a mistake to think they wouldn't destroy Earth because it would also destroy them. When I worked in the field of mental health for many years, a primary lesson was people who are homicidal are also suicidal. Our scientists don't care. This is well brought out by the video.

I sent this to my friends but we are all friends. We are all with Care2. We care enough to do something.......
when we can....what we can.
