Watch this video if you can. It starts in a feed lot, horses waiting to go to Slaughter. After you watch it, ask yourself what part of this is O.K.?

Visit http://californiabarbaro.com/. "This site is dedicated to the end of Horse Slaughter in America, in Loving Memory of Barbaro, who taught us about Courage, Perseverance and Determination."

I gather, that there is a happy ending, unless I misunderstood--"Brego," who was rescued, was in actuality the long-lost racer, Captain Dudley.

Horses were meant to run free, not be penned, slaughtered and eaten. Thank you for posting this. I had the rare priviledge of seeing Barbaro.....in his name, I will donate what I can, to help stop the slaughter of all horses, but especially ex-race horses.

Thank you.

this must end. I will not understand how humans can be so cruel and heartless. we are ot humans we are not animals we are nothing without the horses.

I can't watch it, either. Some images I prefer not to have in my mind.
Thanks, Gwen.

Well, I understand the sensitivity that makes these hard to watch, but how can any argue against horse slaugter if they don't have the information?
