Joyce,you speak my language.I am not generally in favour of revolutions,preferring evolutionary and reformist change.To be honest though,the US and by implication Global elite are so powerful,so embedded and so unbending in their "dollars uber alles",thinking,that they cannot be reformed,and nudged into a sharing,caring democracy.So a revolution would be well tasty,you can count me in.

I'm am currently in revolt of the United States of Federal Fascists. I've known about BUSH INC for a very long time, due to my military career. These people should be shot for treason and nothing short thereof.
Bush is actually the first acting dictator in US history. The election in Florida was shown to be rigged by the Florida Supreme Court. NOBODY has done anything at all, so I consider the entire Federal Government to be in default, and or various state government to be corrupted beyond repair. With the election system compromised how can any of the Republics survive? The new world revolt includes armed defense of myself and family, no longer paying taxes, or any government funds at all. I have written formal letters letting these folks know that most of us aren't going to take this any longer. I'm already profiled by this fascist so it don't matter to me.

When the troops have lethal weapons in their hands -- and I mean this LITERALLY -- and the troops are conditioned to OBEY -- then, your talk, talk, talk of "Revolution" WON'T GET VERY FAR AT ALL.

WHOSE SIDE DO YOU WANT THE TROOPS WITH LETHAL WEAPONS IN THEIR HANDS, TO BE ON?
Do you think troops that use lethal weapons against foreign civilians, won't, uh-uh, uh-uh, use them equally against AMERICAN civilians if we get "uppity"????
For there to be MUTINY among the troops, there need to be these pre-conditions; death must be almost an inevitability, which with multiple re-deployments is the case; the troops must NOT BELIEVE IN THE CAUSE ANY MORE; and, the troops must KNOW THAT THEY HAVE CIVILIAN SUPPORT FOR THEIR DIS-OBEDIENCE.

Hans: The Powers That Be, have NOT DARED TO PUT MUTINIES INTO THE HISTORY BOOKS!!! Actually, there have been MANY mutinies, and dis-obediences by troops, that CHANGED HISTORY.
Even the Macedonian troop of Alexander the Great, MUTINIED and stopped his conquest of India! More recently, the Viet Nam war ended because of WIDESPREAD DIS-OBEDIENCE BY AMERICAN TROOPS. There was even a NEW WORD added to the English language: "FRAGGING". It means, to KILL YOUR OFFICERS. SEVERAL HUNDRED AMERICAN OFFICERS were KILLED BY THEIR OWN MEN, during the Viet Nam war. For comprehensive confirmation, see the documentary film "Sir! No Sir!"; and the writings of Col. Robt. Heidl.
Some people know, that during WWI, the RUSSIAN troops WOULD NOT FIGHT and came HOME and some joined in the October Revolution {1917}. FEWER people know, that THERE WERE REVOLTS IN THE IMPERIAL GERMAN NAVY; and in civilian munitions factories, there were supporting strikes. At Bremerhafen and Kiel{1918}. With lots of Socialist involvement. Leading, again, to GERMANY ENDING THE WAR {WWI}. THIS HAS NOT APPEARED IN HISTORY TEXTBOOKS I HAVE READ. {Nazi propaganda called it "the stab in the back".}
There HAVE in fact been mutinies during the Iraq war and occupation; but, we seldom hear of them; and NEVER would, if it weren't for the internet!
Anyway, if mutiny is indeed "impossible", then FORGET yapping and yammering about "revolution", it is nothing but hot air and a waste of time!
However, I believe mutiny on a larger scale than has happened so far, is NOT impossible. And, in the case of ONE soldier I know personally about, learning 9/11 Truth DID INDEED LEAD DIRECTLY TO HIS REFUSING TO FIGHT.
Mutiny by UNITS is more productive than individual mutinies, of course.
THAT IS EXACTLY WHY WE MUST SHOW OUR SUPPORT FOR THEM.

Hi BMutiny : ) Most successful revolutions have not been made in opposition to a military. They have generally been made by movements that got significant numbers of the military on their side. However, the socialist revolution in Cuba was made against the military, by forming a rebel guerrilla army (which gained the support of ordinary people), in unity with many other activists.... My point is that it is possible to make revolution against a military - but if you can get military people to join the revolution, then all the better! : )

Bush acts more like the Nazis every day w/his own secret police force - this is just another diversionary tactic he uses - if he accuses the other side of being Nazis he will confuse the issue and he loves creating confusion. Some brains can't take in two different concepts at the same time like Bush is a sociopathic narcistic Nazi dictator wannabee, and yet he's speaking against them - so he can't be one, right? according to sick logic used by too many Americans. It's the John McCain is a War Hero so he should be Commander in Chief even though he is a former POW who never sought therapy or help for his PTSD and has that 1,000 yard stare any vet with PTSD recognizes if he has self awareness...the man is isolated, distant w/memory problems, wants his enemies to kick him as often as possible. Take a class on Combat PTSD and you will understand McCain oh, so much better and why he wants war to continue for 100 years...talk about illogical! Lots of good points here. I do want a revolution, but must also admit I am scared to death to face military forces. I have no training in any of that, and would truly like a peaceful revolution, but that appears almost impossible. I would however believe that all those involved in a revolution, each has a special talent or gift to bring to it. But until we can safely say that greed is not the reason for the revolution, it would be useless and the same thing would happen anyway only with different dictators. *sighs*

Come on, Americans -- and I mean you and me -- are too soft, lazy, and timid to face an armed military. It won't ever happen. In countries where a revolution has succeeded against a military, the people are hard-working peasants and factory workers used to physical labor and hard conditions -- not like our soft, accustomed-to-privilege, complaining-but-inert Middle Classes!
I mean that is the unfortunate truth! There are not enough gun-toting NRA "survivalist" types to really take on the military, and some of them would probably be on the side of the military anyway! Besides, even if they DID have all the firepower of hand weapons, even Kalishnikovs if they could get them, our military has planes, bombs, flame-throwers, biological and chemical poisons, etc. etc., as well as specific crowd-control weapons they are developing for just such eventualities, ones we have heard of and ones we know nothing about.
Past revolutions didn't have to cope with all this extreme high-tech!!!
Revolutions can succeed when the force available to the revolutionary side is comparable to that of the force used against them. For example, the English revolution where King Charles lost his head -- both sides had the same kinds of muskets available, both sides equally could buy them, manufacture them, steal them, get them off of dead bodies or out of captured armories, etc. But, during the Middle Ages, no peasant revolution succeeded -- a whole lot of peasants armed with wooden pitchforks and kitchen knives, were no match for only a few fully-armored knights on armored horses completely outfitted with the latest in steel weaponry!
There is nothing like a FAILED REVOLUTION to "teach a lesson". Note that THERE IS NO ORGANIZATION OF ANY PROMINENCE, THAT HAS ANY PLANS FOR ANY SORT OF "REVOLUTION" IN THIS COUNTRY. The best that "radical" organizations can come up with, is yet another "big march on Washington"! We have NO potential Lenin or Fidel Castro in the U.S.!
Therefore, I say, talk of "revolution" is nothing more than wishful or MAGICAL thinking. If you "want it badly enough, it will happen". UH-uh. That is just a REFLECTION of the softness, the laziness, the privileged COCOON we have all been living in up to now!!!
I think you can agree, that if anyone is NOT leading a life of softness, laziness and privilege, it is the grunts in the military.
The Revolution, if there is to BE one, will have to come from THEM -- or from nowhere, it won't happen. This is in-escapable logic. What "worked" half-a-century ago, won't work NOW, for the reasons I stated!
The Revolutionaries, if we are to have any hand in it, won't START the violence. Revolution would be non-co-operation with an illegal government -- not serving it, not carrying out its orders, physically blocking it from operating. NON-VIOLENCE IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO. Both morally; and as a practical matter. Some gun-nuts with shotguns would be mowed down mercilessly and immediately. From the air, if necessary.
However, VIOLENCE WILL SURELY BE USED AGAINST NON-VIOLENT REVOLUTIONARIES. Sure as the sun will rise tomorrow!!!
THAT is where the "HEARTS AND MINDS" of the members of the Military come in. WILL THEY OBEY ORDERS TO SHOOT, TO USE LETHAL FORCE AGAINST THEIR MOMS AND DADS AND CHILDREN, THEIR SWEETHEARTS AND CIVILIAN FRIENDS? WILL THEY BE THAT BRAINWASHED? WILL IT BE ENOUGH, TO MERELY TELL THESE SOLDIERS THEY ARE FACING "TERRORISTS" OR "ISLAMO-FASCISTS" or whatever the buzzword of the day happens to be???
