It's U.S. National Bike to Work Day on Friday and Americans are facing record high gasoline prices, but most commuters will stick to their cars.

If I stilled lived in a city I would be biking, my commute is less than a mile, but I'm in very rural PA, no sidewalks, no bike lanes, curvy mountain roads, crazy drivers, deer and bears crossing, way too dangerous
Thanks Deedy

More and more people are turning to this again. Thanks Deedy.

If we had safe bike lanes then many more people would be willing to use bikes. Right now you have to take YOUR life plus that of the drivers into your hands when you try. Not to mention over 3/4 of the bikes on the road don't follow ANY rules or laws of the road as it is. It takes the cooperation and effort of both driver and biker to make this work.
