"City authorities asked the judiciary to take action after the Israeli fruit was allegedly imported in boxes marked as Chinese, local media report.

The fruit was imported via Dubai and put on sale at markets and in shops in and around Tehran, one report says.

A news agency showed pictures of boxes containing fruit bearing a Jaffa label.

In its report on the alleged distribution of the oranges, the Ilna news agency said fruit still in storage would not be sold. "

Israeli exports to Arab countries are huge, despite the calls for boycotte: the goods are of high quality, the price is right, fresh - so traders just remove labels and re-sell.

Importers will need to fire the company removing Israeli labels...

Doesn't this story reflect the nonsense of Middle-Eastern politics.
How inconceivable that Iranians might be tainted by eating oranges from the "Zionist Entity." They can't say Israel in Iran.
With all the mystery and subterfuge surrounding this incident we might well have another case of "Agent Orange." Thanks Dee.

I think it's pretty amusing. I don't suppose Israel would be too amused either if they found they were getting imports from Iran, LOLOL! The Jewish/Arab hatred is sooooo ridiculous! One of these days it will all stop because they will either start world war 3 or God will intervene! Thanks Dee and noted!
