"That's according to a new study by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, which found a 25 percent rise in the last year alone, in what it labels as "problematic" groups popping up on social networks.

"There are over 10,000 problematic postings, websites, Facebook, YouTube stuff and back in 1995 ,not so long ago, there was one hate site, so we're looking at an exponential explosion," said Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. "But I want to emphasize there are two different areas. One is hate, you know if you're a Jew or black or Asian or gay, there's a lot of hate online, but there's also another area of terrorist organizations that use the same technologies for command and control, recruitment, fundraising."

As long as it's not an attempt at terrorist recruitment, training, fundraising, etc. - it's a freedom of speech issue which must (however reluctantly) be protected.

But I will never understand the mindset of those people who actually listen to and consider that garbage to be valid.

I oppose hate groups also. However if ths is the same old war on what is and is not anti-semitism, there certainly could be a problem. I oppose anti-semitism but what some people are calling anti-semitism these days is anyone that does not show Israel and the IDF in a postitive light! I find that to be ridiculous! I always support people of the Jewish faith but I do not support the IDF/Mossad in their current method of operation! Thanks Dee and noted!
