"University of Adelaide geneticist, Dr Frank Grutzner says DNA mapping of the platypus has uncovered an interesting relationship between their sex chromosomes and DNA sequences found in human ovarian cancer.

Thanks for this Dee. This has come to late to help my dearest friend in Canberra battling this disease. But lets hope they begin to focus on this form of cancer now the way they have done on breast cancer and get the survival rate up. I will not see my friend again and that is very sad for me

All we can do is hope they will look at all forms of cancer..and start doing as much as they can to stop so many from suffering..dying..and soon..
