Under the "leadership" of its president, Les Moonves, the network has stooped to a new low by having kids kill animals on CBS' new show Kid Nation. The kids chop off chicken heads on air. Is this what they should be learning? Disgusting! Sign now to stop!

The only good that can come of this is that maybe some children will understand that the chicken on their late was once a living breathing, animal. This may sound strange to many of you. But you would be surprised the answers that teachers hear when you ask children "where does your food come from?" People have lost an understanding of the process of farm to table.

Noted, but remember, in the early years of American history to the present day, children of farmers learn early that these animals are not pets, but a source of food. That's one of the lessons the participants of "Kid Nation" will learn from this experience. You have to make due with what you have.

I believe that Every Meat Eater Should Pass An Ethical Butchering test Some time Between 18 & 21 and Present thier Ethical Carnizore Card Before Buying Meat in Any Form. They do Need To Realize what thier Choice involves and if Properly enfoced this Could Force the end of Fast food (MEAT) and reduced Consumption to the point where Factory farms are Phased out.!..Especially if Ethical standard were stricly enforced on Farms and Meat processers..!..!..
However in this Case They Were not Forced to Kill But Given A Choice and they Chose to eat meat Which Meant they had to Do it for themselves While I have my own Issues with the Stupid Human Tricks That the producers Created for the Chalenges and the inherent unfairness of Groups of Smaller kids forced to compete for "Classist" Placement and Wages. I Feel that the Kids Have handled all the real life issues well enough Although it might have made more Sense to Save the egg laying Hens For the food they produce and eating the Roosters orfor more meat Per Kill Eating one of the Non milk produceing Goats.!.! But They will have to Face that Choice another day as thier chickens Diminish and They realize tthier mistakes And Ballance those issues..!..
The problem with our Consumer Culture is that We are so Detached from the Consquences of our Desires that most People Think it is OK to Eat Meat But KILLING is WRONG .?..! Animals kill to Eat We are Animals Those of you that want to Promote Equal Rights Between Humans and Animals should Recognize this and Go Try to Convert A Tiger or a Wolverine And Get Some perspective; Or if you are Truely Commited Offer Yourselves up As Tiger Food to Save All the Poor Chickens, Goats, Cows and Wild Animals they eat.!..
I am sure they Would be happy to Oblige After all More Meat than Small game and Think of the Moral Superiority You Could Feel; isn't that what this is all about.!..!.. Heck I would even Eat all Fruits and Vegies For a Day for Each Martyr That Feeds a Carnivore Just think how many Mink or Foxes you could Feed.!..!.....
