We can do a lot of things at home, at work, with our cars, and even in our communities. In Vermont we have Green Up Day at the beginning of May. At my office we use both sides of the paper.

It still strikes me as odd that, for as many alternatives as there are out there for transportation, American's are still stuck with gas. In 'An Inconvenient Truth' Al Gore points out that each day all of us in whatever car we drive create about 19lbs. of CO2. Wow, and yet how can a family on Welfare defeat the odds and get a car that is electric?
