Unsurprisingly, food has played an integral role in human history far, far beyond merely providing them with the energy and nutrients necessary for the species to propagate.

I don't understand how this pertains to helping organizations. Is it really important to know what they ate?.I can understand if they ate humans, but it seems ordinary to eat those kinds of foods.I personally am a food lover, but that is neither here nor there.

Pardon the pun, but there was just too much in that article to DIGEST in one sitting. Think I'll read the rest when I have more time. Interesting.

How interesting to noted famous people and their tastes for certain foods... especially Andy Warhol with his "sweets"... There are two types of people in this world, those who live to eat and those who eat to live, and I'm afraid I fall into the latter catagory.

I've always been a foodie but without the resources to go to the best restaurants. I've always been drawn to new cuisines and can reel off all the nationalities whose food I have enjoyed, as well as recounting some very special meals. The article reveals a few changes in what we boast of. Today the person who boasts of having eaten whale or beaver tails would be responded to with expressions of horror on the listeners faces.

Interesting. Maybe foodies combine passion and sensation...the art of nurturing the soul. They are sensualists anyway.

Sounds like a bunch of gluttons on this list. I was most interested in Mandela and what it said about him speaks volumes. I would have guessed his profile would look akin to that. Interesting posting.
