And what about the ones who didn't sign? That only means that it will still be there and those few will rake in huge fortunes from the sickos surfing the net. They must ALL sign to eradicate this disgusting stuff.

Noted, thanks Kelli.
This has been a long time coming, and I'm pleased that ISPs are going to block Internet Porn. The court ruled that it is up to parents who have kids under the age of 18 to monitor where they go on the Internet, and left it at that. But the Internet Porn industry is making billions every year, and with Web Sits such as NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) which was founded by defrocked priest Paul Shanley who is currently in prison for his child molestation crimes. There were more than 200,000 members of his Web Site. It was taken down for a short time, but from I hear it is up and running again, and children can easily log on to the site without any restrictions. This whacked out group of Pedophiles thinks it's ok for men and women to have sex with minor children over the age of 5. They are a disgusting group, and now maybe their site will be taken down for good this time round.
My son has a MY Space. Com account and there was a man who left the link to NAMBLA and was actually promoting the site. His account was finally deleted by My Space Staff, which was a good thing. I used to have an account there as well, but I kept getting so many invites to porn sites that I cacelled my account, and not have been hack since. My Space can be useful if used for the right reasons, but in most cases it is abused.

Regarding what ISPs can do regarding censorship? Anything they want to censor. I sometimes get an e-mail to sign a petition from MoveOn.org, and each time I write a comment and sign the petition is doesn't get sent because MoveOn.org does not like what I had to say about putting Karl Rove in jail. The censored my comment and would not allow it to be posted in the petition. They indeed infact violated my First Amendment right to freedom of speech. I said nothing that would have allowed my comment to be included with their petition, but when I deleted the entire comment the petition went through without any problems. Creedo does the same thing, and I sent them a comment blasting them for censoring my comment. If they keep violating my freedom of speech I will no longer sign their petitions, and I will block them from sending me any further e-mails.

Anyone else have the same problems?

It has taken years of the internet to see just how depraved some people really are, and it is actually shocking. Laws lag so much behind the need in ALL areas, so at least they have started working on it. Thank God for small favors! Thanks for a little good news, Kelli.

You can't yell FIRE! in a theater, it shouldn't be okay for children to access this crap in your own home. Child porn is against the law so it should be banned on computers. I am far from being a prude but this is just wrong. Pedophiles should not have any rights in this area as they are illegal. Felons lose their rights and so should these sicko's. I would die if my grandchildren (3-6yrs old) accidently saw this as they are far too young to know how bad it is and I wouldn't know how to explain how severe the danger is to them. I am happy to see SOMEONE has taken some responsiblily. I am big on our rights and the constitution and basically against banning anything but child porn is just too much and should not be protected as a right for anyone. Same for beastiality. I saw photos from a child he copied off the school computer of a pig and a woman. I almost barfed. Yup, I gave a lecture but he was 15 years old and understood what I was saying.
