For those that can't watch the recent videos about the pig abuse in Iowa because they are too graphic here is a great video by Madison Park which mildly reflects the way Factory Farm animals live every day.

Such a heartbreaking video. When that calf was laying down and some guy came and whipt it, I just wanted to reach in there and take that whip and beat the hell out of him. Noted with tears. Thanks for sending to me Kathy. Thanks Saving O.

Noted and thanks Saving Opus and Kathy.
I've viewed that sad video before, it's message is powerful and so true and it needs to be spread far and wide to educate the public on this hidden truth of cruelty to the factory farmed animals.

We (the consumer) can change how the animals lives for the better by not purchasing factory farmed pork, ham, or bacon, veal or poultry products.

Ideally adopt a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle!

Thank you so much for sharing this! I hope it helps. Abusing animals is cruel. Folks who don't care about animals suffering usually don't care about people either. Sick!

thank you and noted! I have been fighting against factory farms for a long time! On top of the horrid abuse, their regular use of antibiotics is causing resistance in humans. There is NOTHING good about factory farms!

This is so wrong.

Thank you Kathy for working so hard to get the message out. I have seen (sp?)Shroedinger W.'s comments that by allowing animal cruelty, we then allow human cruelty, that has really made me think. Noted.

People do this to each other every day. They do not realize they are striking a part of themselves. So, the abuse passing down becomes even more violent against the most vulnerable.

The husband, the wife, the child. The child hits the cat and dog. On it goes as one gets older more violence occurs and is often encouraged by government to keep a level of chaos in place to cause the people to try to control one another while sitting back and calling us fools (sheeple).

Of course their lives get flipped upside down as well. But with money, power they can deny their humanity for a little while.

I hope soon humanity will evolve above the hormones that control or physical reaction and become more contemplative.

Think on it. If you want to hurt someone else it is often because you feel inadequate yourself. I have done this to others. Have you? Be honest. Women will often not admit to this but words too can cause serious emotional scars.

We are all human beings that need nurturing, love, acknowledgment's, learning, purpose, focus, and the energy to get some good things done in life.

Namaste.

Thank you for defending the defenseless.

"Ninety-eight percent of all animal suffering takes place
in factory farms and slaughterhouses."
Thank you for sharing this with us, Saving.
I already watch this video on your page and I am glad that I am a vegetarian.

If only those who wish to eat meat were prepared to INSIST on free range ONLY....& ENSURED that the animals they consumed had led as happy & comfortable a life as possible before a swift & painless death close to their place of rearing.....factory farms would not exist as they do @ present......furthering the desires of the thoughtless & filling the pockets of the suppliers!
So the responsibility lies mainly with the consumer.....each & every one.....factory farms exist solely to fill supply & demand in the market place......& SADLY for NO PTHER REASON!

One day these animals will be free Robin this I know for sure not by man but, by The Lord himself. He gave us these animals to care for not to destroy or abuse. My heart breaks when I see any animal hurt in any way. I had better never see it happen for I will not sit back and not do nothing even if it means going to jail for I will make it my business when it comes to a animal, for they can not speack bu I can and will. Thanks Saving O. signed with so much sadness

What´s wrong here? I have posted the message above on another blog of Opus. And now I see that this messgae is here, where my answer has nothing to do with the issue here. Anyway, Thank you Saving Opus. It is really sad and frustrating all this the animals go trhough. Wise words Gregory. And everyone here.

Sickening and tragic, and although painful to watch, its important that we see what the meat industry is really about. I would love to see this video playing on the screens at Times Square and at every KFC, BK, McDonalds, etc...would it be so bad to think about who/what you eat???
Thanks Saving Opus, thanks Animalspirit for forwarding

I have already gone vegan this summer from other animal cruelty I became aware of. this cruelty just re-inforces my determination to get others to also at least eat a vegetarian diet. I won a partial victory today. My husband is suffering with horrable gut in his feet. The doctor told him today is mainly from eating meat. I have been battling all summer with him over going vegetarian. Now I have the doctor backing me. Hurray. Each victory is one more closer to animal cruetly being stopped.

I just can't believe how cruel this world is! It hurts so much to see those animals treated like that. Their lives wasted in factory farms. My god where is humanity heading, it is unbearable. My heart is so heavy after watching this, my eyes are full of tears. How can they do this, how can they sleep at night. Money all for money, I hope they pay in hell for this!

Gregory, I agree we all have hurt somebody, either physically or verbally. But this is worse, as they take their whole lives away and make them suffer for their whole lives, denying them of their basic rights. Just look how those little babies struggle on those chains. Why do they have to keep calves like that? Or any of the other animals for that matter? Just too cruel. I will fight for farm animals for the rest of my life! They have feelings like you and me and I am sure dreams for their lives aswell. OH I HATE THIS WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
