California is one cool state. At least 63% of it is. ;) Sixty-three percent of California residents voted in favor of Proposition 2: meaning at least 63% believe that farm animals deserve space to move around, just like we all do! They aren't concerned with a one cent per egg increase. They didn't fall prey to the absolute nonsense that numbers of factory farming conglomerates tried to pull on them through extensive and gravely misleading advertising, just like they attempted in Arizona in 2006.

California, along with Arizona, Colorado, Florida and Oregon has exhibited their compassion for farm animals by voting YES on the California ballot Tuesday. There's certainly a lot of work to go for us where factory farming is concerned but we're tellin' ya -- times are a changin'!

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THE REST OF THE WORLD NEEDS TO JOIN IN AND STOP THE CRUELTY OF ALL ANIMALS. WE HAVE EVOLVED PEOPLE - WE ARE NO LONGER LIVING IN CAVES - SO STOP ACTING LIKE WE ARE!!!

We are very tired here in Calif but we are a very happy state! The Ag business hit us with everything they had including between 10 and 15 million dollars putting out ads against us! We used our voices loud and clear! And the entire nation has helped! Writing letters to our newspapers, etc! It took 800,000 signatures and we were on our way! You are right Opus! Things are changing!!! I just wish we could have defeated prop 8! Bless you Opus! Noted with glee!!
